<title>George Takei With Chase Masterson, Oh my!</title>
			<link>http://www.thefandom.com/Article35.phtml</link>
<description>George took us on a journey (warp speed) of his childhood and how he first got into acting. He recalled his first interview with Gene Roddenberry, where he mispronounced his name (Rosenberry). Gene also mispronounced George's name and was told that his pronunciation of takei actually meant "expensive." Gene immediately got the right pronunciation after that! His character progressed from the original series to the first 6 ST movies and eventually led him to his own big chair as Captain of The Excelsior in ST 6: The Undiscovered Country. Before "Enterprise" premiered, Paramount requested that fans submit ideas for new Star Trek shows, and The Excelsior with Captain Sulu commanding was one of the concepts. Even now, George would love to do the series if ever offered the script.</description>
